Blues on the Mesa kicks off with Grant Sabin, whose biting slide guitar, soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics bring a raw, electrifying energy rooted in Delta blues. Jack Hadley joins forces with the powerhouse vocals of Peaches Embry, blending poetic songwriting and gospel-inspired passion for a moving, unforgettable performance. Eden Brent takes the stage as a piano-pounding, juke-joint hollering force of nature, delivering a soulful sound that keeps the Delta spirit alive. Contemporary blues favorite Mike Zito follows with his authentic, honest style that has made him one of the most respected artists in the genre today. Closing the festival is GRAMMY Award-winner Ruthie Foster, whose soaring voice, timeless artistry and history-making win with Sun Records promise an inspiring finale that blues fans won’t want to miss.
