Cañon City Music & Blossom Festival
The Cañon City Blossom Festival is four days full of a variety of events and fun featuring music, rodeo, 5K run and much more! The festival is the city's largest and continues to grow in popularity every year.
Held annually on the first weekend in May, the Cañon City Music & Blossom Festival provides nationally recognized competitions for elementary, junior high and high school bands in marching, jazz band, and orchestral music.
A two-hour parade on Saturday through downtown Canon City provides a great time for everyone, while the carnival, craft fairs, rodeo, free concerts and other community events fill the weekend with fun.

Blossom Ball — April 28

Wright’s Amusement Giant Carnival — May 3-7
Bring the whole family and enjoy an assortment of amusements and thrilling carnival rides.
Carnival Hours:
- Wednesday & Thursday: 5:00-11:00 p.m.
- Friday: 3:00 p.m. - Midnight
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - Midnight
- Sunday: 12:00-10:00 p.m.
RunBlossom 5K — May 6
Join runners of all ages as they usher in the summer season during the annual runBlossom 5K race, showcasing the Arkansas Riverwalk Trail and some of the area's most scenic vistas. Register now ($20 registration available through May 3, $25 registration available until 15 minutes before the start of each wave).
Packet and bib pickup is available beginning Friday, May 5 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at The Hive (729 Main Street) in Cañon City.

85th Annual Cañon City Music & Blossom Festival Parade — May 6
Beginning at 1:00 p.m., watch as cars, horses, floats and groups of locals — dressed for this year's theme of "Under the Western Sky" — pass through downtown Cañon City. View the parade lineup here.
Cluster Duck — May 6
Enjoy a mix of rock, blues, and funk music from local band Cluster Duck and other local performers at Macon Plaza from 3-11 p.m. (immediately following the parade).
Blossoms in the Park — May 6 & 7
Enjoy live entertainment, music, and a kids zone, plus shop from over 100 local craft vendors in Veterans Park beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
