Chelsy is a Colorado Springs native and holds a Communications degree from UCCS. She joined VCOS in 2008 and directs all activities of the Communications department, including PR, advocacy, media relations, crisis communications, travel writer trips, social media and photo/video asset management. She enjoys fashion, traveling and her two labs, Gunner and Champ.

Julia joined VCOS in 2017 with a background in non-profit work and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Santa Clara University. Julia creates online content such as videos, social media posts and blogs. A southern New Mexico native, she enjoys yoga, rock climbing and eating green chile.
