Arts Month
Led by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, our local Arts Month collaborates with individual artists, arts organizations, and community partners from across our region. Existing cultural offerings are amplified with special Arts Month programming to create an October calendar that’s rich with amazing local art to see, hear, taste and experience!

Week 1: Visual & Culinary Arts
October 2 - 8
To kick off Arts Month, Visual and Culinary artists around the Pikes Peak Region show off their art galleries, culinary classes, and crafting. Check out the ongoing First Friday Art Walks in downtown COS and Old Colorado City, a brewhouse tour at Goat Patch Brewery, Food Truck Tuesday at the Pioneers Museum, arts classes at the Colorado College Fine Art Center and much more.

Week 2: Theater & Film
October 9 - 15
The second week of Arts Month takes the stage with artists showcasing their film and live theater productions. See a play at the Ent Center for the Arts, attend a magic show or view local artists' short films.

Week 3: Poetry, Prose & Comedy
October 16 - 22
Our local artists will have you laughing, crying and everything in between. Listen in or participate in an open mic event by Poetry 719, hear Pikes Peak Poet Laureate 2023, Ashley Cornelius, read a stunning new poem, or attend a comedy show.

Week 4: Music & Dance
October 23 - 29
Watch artists dance and sing the night away with their performances. You'll also find spooky themes throughout some events to commemorate the Fall season and Halloween. Find shows at ICONS, Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts, the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College and other stages across the region.
