Visit Colorado Springs Welcomes Lee Reijgers as New VP of Sales
Reijgers will succeed Kathy Reak upon her retirement
Colorado Springs, Colo. – October 28, 2024 – Today, VCOS announced the hire of Lee Reijgers, who will succeed current VP of Sales Kathy Reak upon her retirement.
Reijgers comes to VCOS with more than 20 years of sales experience across the Pikes Peak Region. He most recently worked as Director of National Accounts for the pre-opening of Hotel Polaris and Director of Sales, Catering & Events at Switchbacks FC & Entertainment. Prior to these roles, he was an integral part of the sales teams at major resorts including Cheyenne Mountain Resort, The Lodge at Flying Horse and Garden of the Gods Resort & Club.

Reijgers will be filling the role of Kathy Reak, who has been with the organization for more than 27 years. Reak began working at VCOS as Senior Director of Convention Sales in 1997. She is renowned in the industry for her exemplary customer service, expansive expertise and long-lasting relationships with planners.

Reijgers first day with VCOS will be Monday, November 4. He will oversee a team of five other stellar sales team members.
