Colorado Springs Receives First MICHELIN Guide Recognitions
The prestigious program has officially arrived in the Pikes Peak Region
Monday, September 14, 2026 – Colorado Springs, Colo. – Today, Colorado Springs received its first MICHELIN Guide Colorado recognitions since officially joining the statewide program in February 2026.
Both Four by Brother Luck and The Penrose Room at The Broadmoor are now on the prestigious Guide’s “Recommended” list. Both restaurants also received special awards – two of the four special awards the Guide announced for the state of Colorado this year. Kyle McNerney from Four by Brother Luck was awarded the "MICHELIN Exceptional Cocktails Award," and Joseph Freyre was awarded the "MICHELIN Outstanding Service Award."
"It's great to have our restaurant and team among the first in the region to be recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, especially as an independent restaurant," said Chef Brother Luck, owner of Four by Brother Luck. "For us, this was never about chasing an accolade. It's about what it means for the future of our city and our dining scene. Recognition like this pushes more investment into culinary education and shows our next generation of talent they can build something real right here in the Pikes Peak Region."
While Colorado Springs continues to expand its variety of culinary offerings, these initial recognitions by the MICHELIN Guide serve as a springboard for growth.
“Colorado Springs is now on the MICHELIN Guide map, which will undoubtedly raise the bar for our food and beverage scene,” said Doug Price, President & CEO of Visit Colorado Springs. “There are countless examples of how the MICHELIN Guide has elevated the scene for destinations, and now it’s our turn.”
MICHELIN Guide-recognized restaurants often help attract and retain top culinary talent in their destinations. As stated in a previous release, food and cuisine is the largest travel passion category for recent or likely visitors to Colorado (Miles Partnership’s State of the American Traveler). Attracting and retaining top culinary talent, diversifying the food scene and attracting higher-spend visitors year-round remain focus areas for the destination.
