Celebrate the Summer Solstice with a morning of restorative yoga, live music, and an immersive sound bath experience guided by Dr. Gigi Turner, PsyD of Singing Bowls of the Rockies, multi-instrumentalist Steve Manzo, and yoga instructor Valeria.
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and has long been associated with renewal, vitality, reflection, and new beginnings. It offers a natural moment to pause, reconnect, and welcome a new season with intention and presence. This experience is designed to help you ease into your day through movement, sound, and deep rest.
Restorative Yoga with Valeria (10:00 – 11:00 am)
Begin your morning with one hour of gentle restorative yoga designed to help release tension, awaken the body, and create space to settle into the present moment through grounding movement and breath.
Live Summer Solstice Sound Bath with Gigi Turner, Steve Manzo & Valeria Mendoza (11:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Transition into a one-hour immersive sound journey featuring crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gong, chimes, flutes, drums, handpan, and layered live instrumentation. Relax into soothing frequencies and vibrations designed to support stillness, reflection, and deep rest.
About Your Guides
Dr. Gigi Turner, PsyD — founder of Singing Bowls of the Rockies and former psychology professor — combines years of experience in psychology, nervous system regulation, and sound bath facilitation to create calming and restorative experiences.
Steve Manzo is a multi-instrumentalist known for his intuitive approach to live music, weaving handpan, native flutes, didgeridoo, percussion, and atmospheric textures into immersive sound experiences.
Valeria Mendoza brings a calming and grounded presence, guiding restorative yoga and joining the sound bath experience to support a gentle transition into deeper relaxation and connection.
Together, Gigi, Steve, and Valeria create a Summer Solstice experience designed to help you feel grounded, renewed, and connected as you begin the season.
