Enjoy a 4,675 square-foot, real ice rink, located on the west side of Acacia Park. The rink is a collaborative effort between the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Services and Downtown Colorado Springs.

This year, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad is introducing the ALL NEW Santa Express Train holiday locomotive, which will lead the train through the Royal Gorge to the North Pole and back. It’s an absolute holiday masterpiece and will delight children of all ages. During the journey, you and your family are welcome to order and enjoy lunch or dinner, as well as your favorites from our full bar, while we make our way through the Royal Gorge to pick up St. Nick. Once the guest of honor boards the train, Santa will greet every child and give each of them a very special gift.

Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is the only place in Colorado Springs where you can see over 85 one-of-a-kind light sculptures while celebrating the season with the animals at the same time! Welcome to The North Pole-Santa’s Workshop, an enchanting vintage amusement park nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Home to Santa’s Village and the jolly man himself – the spirit of Christmas lives on all year long here at The North Pole.

Dates: Holiday Season: November - December 24, 2024. Peak days are weekends in November & December and holiday weeks. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays except Holiday weeks.
Times: Vary on peak vs. non-peak days. The last wristband sold at 3:30 p.m. All rides close at 4:20 p.m. during the Holiday season.

Cost: Reservations are required for peak days. Tickets will be released weekly to avoid weather cancellations. Peak day admission is $32/ticket for everyone 3 and older. Non-peak day admission is free, but you may purchase ride wristbands at the gate. Unlimited ride wristbands are $32.

Beginning November 30th, each Saturday the patio will transform into a holiday market filled with local vendors selling unique gifts and seasonal treasures, perfect for holiday shopping. The event will also feature songs & stories with Santa inside the lodge and free caroling hayrides that depart once an hour. A holiday drink menu for both adults and kids will warm spirits, complemented by seasonal treats from local food trucks.

Local artisans and vendors are encouraged to participate, with limited vendor space available. Interested vendors can contact events.bicycleresort@gmail.com to secure their spot. The fee is $50 whether vendors participate in one, or all five, holiday markets.

Grab your friends and get cozy during this Christmas Wreath Workshop hosted in the big red barn on the farm. We will walk you through how to decorate your 24" fir wreath base using beautiful materials such as noble, douglas and silver fir, pinecones, dried oranges, dried flowers, cinnamon sticks and ribbon. Bring any extra adornments that you would like to add onto your wreath as well! You will walk away from this workshop with a gorgeous wreath while enjoying all the sights, sounds and taste of Christmas cheer.

You will not be hand tying the entire wreath base, rather you will get to do the fun part of adding all the special tidbits to create your own uniquely gorgeous wreath!

The holiday concert, celebrates the local choir’s positive community impact, is free, but admission is ticketed and must be reserved in advance. Audience donations are encouraged but not required. Paid parking is available at the resort with all proceeds benefiting the Empty Stocking Fund.

What happens when Santa’s elves forget that he has retired? The handbook says we must have a new Santa before Christmas Eve and…it’s the week before Christmas?!! Our Elves must come together through song, dance and doughnuts to search for the next Santa before it’s too late. But someone seems to have intentionally sent them on an impossible path. This hilarious, poignant and ultimately heartwarming musical is exactly the escape you’re looking for this holiday season.

The winter solstice brings our longest, darkest night to the northern hemisphere. For centuries this event has been a call for celebration; come find out why! We’ll investigate old ways to celebrate this celestial event while creating new traditions. Our new tradition includes a luminary-candlelight night hike, ending at a warm campfire. Each family will work together to create a modern version of a Yule Log. Come dressed for the weather and prepared for outdoor activities. Please do not bring flashlights - we will let the luminaries and the stars light our way. Prepaid registration required. Recommended for ages 6+.

Come enjoy the wild winter wonderland at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Electric Moonlight! This 21-and-up evening event offers all-inclusive samples of food, beer, wine and spirits donated by local businesses (while supplies last), live local musicians, a chance to visit Santa Claus (grown-ups have wish lists, too!), artisan-made light sculptures, a drone show and our larger-than-life illuminated inflatable animals on display throughout the Zoo (weather dependent)!

Join Whistle Pig Brewing for the ultimate Ugly Sweater Party! Show off your tackiest sweater for a chance to win prizes while enjoying the return of Maple Thunder and It’s a Wonderful Porter alongside other festive cocktails. Live music from Tinker’s Damn starts at 7pm, with food from Roc and Ro Sushi available at 5pm. In the spirit of the season, we’re collecting toys and donations for Toys for Tots. Don’t miss the fun!
