This year, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad is introducing the ALL NEW Santa Express Train holiday locomotive, which will lead the train through the Royal Gorge to the North Pole and back. It’s an absolute holiday masterpiece and will delight children of all ages. During the journey, you and your family are welcome to order and enjoy lunch or dinner, as well as your favorites from our full bar, while we make our way through the Royal Gorge to pick up St. Nick. Once the guest of honor boards the train, Santa will greet every child and give each of them a very special gift.

Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is the only place in Colorado Springs where you can see over 50 acres of one-of-a-kind light sculptures while celebrating the season with the animals at the same time! Welcome to The North Pole-Santa’s Workshop, an enchanting vintage amusement park nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Home to Santa’s Village and the jolly man himself – the spirit of Christmas lives on all year long here at The North Pole.

Dates: Holiday Season: November - December 24, 2025. Peak days are weekends in November & December and holiday weeks. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays except Holiday weeks.
Times: Vary on peak vs. non-peak days. The last wristband sold at 3:30 p.m. All rides close at 4:15 p.m. during the Holiday season.

The U.S. Air Force Academy Band will present its annual Holly & Ivy holiday concert series at Arnold Hall. This year’s concert will capture the diverse holiday music traditions from across the nation. From classic “sing-along” favorites to exciting arrangements, the show will appeal to all ages. We recommend arriving early for the best seating options. eTickets are delivered to your email address at the time of sign-up. The program includes a pre-concert reception, which will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature multiple cadet groups and opportunities to interact with cadets and learn more about their experience at the Academy.

Entering the base through the North Gate. Continue driving straight on Academy Drive for 4 miles and visitors will be directed to designated parking areas. You will be welcomed with holiday cheer during your drive-in!

The holiday concert, celebrates the local choir’s positive community impact, is free, but admission is ticketed and must be reserved in advance. Audience donations are encouraged but not required. Paid parking is available at the resort with all proceeds benefiting the Empty Stocking Fund.

Following last year’s success of Searching for Santa, the CC music department and Colorado Springs Conservatory return with a production of Anastasia. This sweeping musical tells the story of Anya, a young woman searching for her identity, as she journeys from Russia to Paris in a tale of hope, family, and belonging.
