Juneteenth, marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Black Americans learned of their freedom—over two years after emancipation was declared. It is a celebration of liberation, resilience, and Black culture—a time to honor the past, uplift the present, and imagine a future rooted in true freedom for all.
Celebrating Juneteenth is more than attending an event—it’s an act of honoring history, uplifting culture, and strengthening community. By showing up, you help keep the stories of freedom and resilience alive, support local artists, businesses and nonprofits, and take part in a shared vision of what liberation can look like today. Your presence matters—it’s how community is built, remembered, and moved forward.
