Road closures
Various local Black Forest roads are closed. Latest information: El Paso County or Black Forest Fire Evacuation Map. Various local road closures due to the Royal Gorge Fire. Latest information: Royal Gorge Fire Incident Command. There are also multiple statewide fire bans.

The Royal Gorge Bridge & Park will remain closed. The Bridge is still intact with minor damage. Buildings on the property were a loss, but an assessment of the actual damage is still unknown.
Rafting trips are currently not taking place on the Royal Gorge, many other alternative trips are being offered on other parks of the Arkansas River.
The Royal Gorge Route Railroad has resumed trips as of June 15, 2013.

A wildfire is burning near the Royal Gorge in Cañon City, CO (75 miles south of Colorado Springs). First responders are on site, the fires estimated to be at 3,216 acres. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is asking the public to avoid the area of the fire.
