Event Summary
Ready to embrace the magic of winter hiking—but not totally sure where to start? Join us for Winter Hiking 101, designed for women who want to feel confident, capable, and excited to hit the trails this season.
We’ll kick things off with a practical overview of winter hiking essentials: how to layer properly, what to pack, how to stay warm and dry, understanding snow/ice conditions, traction basics, and simple safety tips that make all the difference. You’ll learn everything you need to feel prepared—not overwhelmed.
Then we’ll put it all into practice with a guided 2-3 mile beginner-friendly winter hike. No need to worry about gear—we’ll provide the microspikes (traction devices). Just bring your sense of adventure (and maybe a warm drink for after!).
This is the perfect space to learn, ask questions, and connect with a community of supportive women who love getting outside—even when the temperatures drop.
Come curious, leave confident. Winter hiking is fantastic, and we can’t wait to show you why!
