The Strange Parade

The Strange Parade is one of Colorado's premier tribute bands. Dedicated to the authentic revival of The Doors, the band is focused on delivering one of the best tribute and concert experiences available.

The sounds you'll hear lovingly replicate the instrumentation and tone of the original group. The Gibson G101 organ tones of Ray Manzarek's distinct right hand were sampled from the true instrument, and a Fender Rhodes Piano Bass fills in the bottom end. Drum grooves send you back to John Densmore's signature fills at the Hollywood Bowl, and ripping and wailing guitar solos speak the truly unique language of Robby Krieger completing the musical ensemble. And through it all, the baritone croons and screams of Jim Morrison, complete with improvised poetry and clownish stage behavior, guide the night into strange and weird places.
