Pantone Color of the Year
June 6, 2023 10:00 AM –6:00 PM
Event Summary
Cottonwood Center for the Arts is proud to present a juried exhibition for the month of June, composed of artists from across the Pikes Peak region and beyond.
Every year Pantone selects a ‘color of the year’ that is intended to express the spirit of current world culture. 2023’s Color is Viva Magenta. Here’s what they had to say about their choice: "Brave and fearless, (Viva Magenta) is a pulsating color whose exuberance promotes optimism and joy…[a]mid the ongoing pandemic, Viva Magenta represents reassurance, confidence and connection in a world trying to get back on its feet.”
For June’s call for entries, we are simply asked artists to incorporate this color into their submission(s).
Enjoy two floors of open studios + galleries on First Friday and all month long during normal business hours at Cottonwood Center for the Arts.
