Event Summary
This faculty concert spans strings, winds, and piano, moving from Mozart's wit to Dvořák's warmth with a rarely heard gem in between. The program features Mozart's "Kegelstatt" Trio, Rebecca Clarke's Three Pieces for Two Violins and Piano, and the rich, lyrical Dvořák Piano Quintet.
The Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a dual-faceted performance and education community held each July with the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association. Faculty artists mentor advanced 9th to 12th grade student musicians in small groups as they explore the world of chamber music, and students share the stage with faculty at the final concert. Now in its 13th season, the festival presents four concerts at Broadmoor Community Church.
