Join us for an afternoon of music celebrating the life and compositions of Professor Emeritus Carlton Gamer, 1929-2023.
Gamer taught at CC from 1954-94 and in addition to his work as a composer, was known as a brilliant music theorist, mathematician and peace activist.
Faculty and guests will present a program of varied works spanning his long and distinguished career, including the Sonata for Violin and Piano, Two Songs by Li Po for voice and flute, Duetude for flute and clarinet, Aria da Capo, and In the Gardens of the West.
