Event Summary
Kaleidoscope of Nature
Elisia Fernandez is a multimedia artist originally from Colorado Springs who began plein air painting as a student studying color and light, and it became a lifelong passion. Elisia finds capturing the colors and atmosphere of fleeting moments to be an exhilarating challenge, and exploring the world and putting her experiences on canvas a privilege.
Grant Morris is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation (Wolf Clan), raised in Oklahoma, at the cross roads of the Osage, Muscogee Creek and Cherokee Nations who now resides in the Front Range near Manitou Springs, CO. Primarily a wood sculptor, he also works with rock and creates traditional Native American weapons. Grant’s free time is spent enjoying the outdoors, often collecting the materials used in his art.
