March 30, 2023 7:00 PM –9:00 PM
Event Summary
Head to Vultures music venue to catch three exciting local indie acts! Kam. and Bryse Taylor will be opening for Broth!
Broth: Kienan Huard created “Broth” in 2019 as a one man bedroom pop band, drawing influences from Christian leave, Her’s, Steve Lacy, and many other bedroom pop artists that came up in 2017. After years of Kienan writing, recording, and performing solo, in 2022 he joined with bassist and songwriter Coda Kai (with live drums provided by Marsh) and together they perform and support the local label “Take A Beat Records” in Colorado Springs. The ultimate goal of Broth is to bring a more genre breaking bedroom indie rock sound to the game, so stay for the the ride!
Bryse Taylor: Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Bryse Taylor is a self-taught musician that writes and records everything from the comfort of a floral-print laden home studio, affectionately referred to as “Grandma's Room.” Fans of Michael Nau, Adrianne Lenker, Nick Drake, Lou Reed, Duff Thumpson, and Dick Stusso will feel at home with Bryse’s stitching of folk-rock influence, fingerstyle guitar, vocal melodies, and mellow instrumentation. Bryse can also be found playing bass for Cabin. Bryse released two singles on March 17th: "What We Share" & Robots Can't Kill Pirates (On The Moon)" - both streaming everywhere now!
Kam. is a 19-year old artist born in Pueblo, Colorado who’s been writing music for a little over 6 years. Their music features elements of pop, alternative, rock, psych, and indie genres while focusing on melancholic lyrical themes. Their debut EP “Melancholic Times” released on Jan. 18th, 2023 globally.
