Event Summary
Get ready for a sweet celebration with a purpose! Donut Day on Pikes Peak is your chance to enjoy the iconic high-altitude donuts while learning how to help protect our beautiful mountain. This family-friendly event combines ranger-led education, outdoor fun, and maybe a few tasty treats for an unforgettable experience!
Throughout the day, you can attend Ranger Talks at three scenic locations: Crystal Reservoir, Glen Cove, and the Summit. Each talk highlights a different aspect of environmental stewardship—like how to prevent food litter, protect wildlife, keep our water sources clean, and the sweet history of the Pikes Peak donut. Each talk ties into the theme of the day: Leave No Crumbs
As you explore the mountain, be sure to pick up a Donut Day Passport and collect a stamp at each Ranger Talk location. Once you’ve collected all three stamps, show your completed passport to one of our donut-wearing rangers to receive a special edition “Leave No Crumbs” sticker as your reward for protecting the Peak!
And yes, donuts will be available for purchase at each Ranger Talk stop! Don’t worry, our chefs know how to make them just as delicious at lower altitudes.
