Concrete Coyote Grand Opening

In 2019, Concrete Couch bought a 7-acre abandoned site in downtown Colorado Springs.

Concrete Couch's goal was to create a community built park, an office for the organization, a caretaker's residence, public restrooms and offer free, fun, educational programming for all community members.

Over the past 4 years, hundreds of volunteers and Concrete Couch have worked to make this goal a reality.

The Concrete Coyote Grand Opening is celebrating all the hard work of the community, and officially opening the park to the public!

Concrete Couch plans for the park to be open for use from dawn to dusk everyday unless there is a special event.

The event will include: tours of the property and lots of free activities.

Activities will include: art, music, science, outdoor recreation and much more!

There will be speeches from prominent community members including: city leaders, community activists, and long time supporters of Concrete Couch.

There will be food from 4-6 PM.

There will be music and the party will end with an hour long jam session, led by Concrete Couch's Jam Band.

The event is free and open for all ages!
