Event Summary
The show revolves around a group of gay men attending a birthday party in New York City. When it premiered off-Broadway in 1968, it was groundbreaking for its intimate portrayal of gay life. SET is proud to put this show on as part of Pride Month.
Emory (Stephen Alan Carver), Larry (Jacob Hacker), Hank (Jude Bishop), Bernard (Robb Williams Jr.), and Donald (Kyle Dexter) all gather at the apartment of Michael (Erick Groskopf) to celebrate the birthday of their friend Harold (Matt Radcliffe). Michael didn’t plan, though, for the unexpected arrival of Alan (Sean Verdu), his friend from college. As the drinks keep coming, the fun takes a dark turn as secrets are revealed, arguments are unearthed, and blows are thrown.
