Annual Winter Faire

Ring in the winter season at "Winter Faire", Mountain Song Community School’s annual, family-friendly festival in Old Colorado City. This celebration invites children and adults alike to slow down, create with their hands, and enjoy a cozy community gathering.

Kids can dip or roll beeswax candles, craft wands and tiny “potion” bottles, decorate gingerbread houses, make ornaments and window stars, and assemble simple bath salt gifts to take home. Around the school, you’ll find Fairy Hill and other artisan booths filled with handcrafted treasures made by Mountain Song families and local makers, along with spice and tea blends inspired by the school garden.

When you’re ready to warm up, stop by Rudolph’s Diner for homemade soup, hot cocoa, and other treats. The day also features face painting, a visit from Father Winter, and a silent auction that helps raise funds for classroom materials, field trips, and student programs at Mountain Song Community School.
