Fall in Colorado Springs isn’t complete without Oktoberfest parties. And luckily, our region is brimming with Oktoberfest fun that goes beyond craft beer. Dance to polka tunes, test your stein-holding strength, relish Bavarian flavors and compete in unforgettable games.

Oktoberfest Train

Set your eyes on the stunning fall terrain of the Pikes Peak Region as you sit inside the Royal Gorge Route Railroad train. This Oktoberfest event includes the option to add on German style bratwurst with spicy mustard and sauerkraut on a pretzel bun, served with potato salad. The train departs at 12:300 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. during the Oktoberfest season.

Pikes Peak Oktoberfest

Make your way to Hillside Gardens for genuine German beer, dancing and plenty of stein-centered fun! Oktoberfest games and a beer contest are just some of the autumnal activities at this event. And if you rock some facial hair, we recommend entering the beard and mustache competition.

Pawtoberfest

Join the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region in celebrating Pawtoberfest! This pet-friendly festival will take place at Union Printers Home at Printers Hill and welcomes all dog owners to attend with their four-legged companions. Craft beer, pet contests and food trucks await at Pawtoberfest.

As an official qualifying location for the Colorado State Steinholding Championship, the stein competitions are on another level during Cerberus Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest. Prepare for housemade marzen, lederhosen and dirndl costume contests and brunch specials.

Oktoberfest Celebration with TOSC & Mash Mechanix Brewing Co

Calling all cycling and beer lovers! This ultimate Oktoberfest event entails a free 10-mile bike tour through the Legacy Loop greenway, finishing up at Mash Mechanix Brewing Co. for the TOSCtoberfest. Breathe in the crisp fall air as you pedal through both paved and dirt paths of the Legacy Loop. Take in the mountain views and keep an eye out for historical landmarks and hidden art. Finally, top it off with a stein-holding contest, cornhole and mouthwatering bites.
