The Colorado Balloon Classic is held each Labor Day weekend and has grown to be the largest and continuously running hot air balloon festival in the Rocky Mountain Region and the State of Colorado. It is a family event and admission is free.

The 28th Annual Festival of Lights Parade begins at 5:50 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2012, in downtown Colorado Springs. This traditional holiday event delights thousands of children of all ages who line the streets to view the spectacular floats, bands, horse units and of course, Santa Claus.

Cowboys working on active ranches ride for the legendary brands that still represent the heart of America’s livestock industry today. July 6th, 2012 is the longhorn cattle drive at high noon, downtown Tejon St. Ride for the Brand Rodeo will be held on July 7th at the Norris-Penrose Event Center.
