A trip to the Pikes Peak Region wouldn't be complete without heading up America's Mountain to soak in the views. The Cog Railway takes visitors up to the 14,115-foot summit of Pikes Peak on an incredible, 3.5 hour round trip journey.
Once at the top of Pikes Peak, check out the new Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center and enjoy a delicious summit donut (or 3) made fresh daily.
There is so much to see in the Pikes Peak Region! Take a day trip from Colorado Springs to nearby Divide where you can howl with the wolves at the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, one of very few sanctuaries in the United States which has been certified by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
After visiting Divide, head to downtown Manitou Springs to enjoy the shops and mineral springs – including a visit to check out the Colorado Ski Furniture Shop.
Head to Garden of the Gods Park where you can walk, hike, bike, Segway or horseback ride around the miles of trails.
