Visit Colorado Springs Honors Brightest Stars in Tourism

The 2025 annual awards event celebrated excellence across the tourism industry

Colorado Springs, Colo. – September 12, 2025 – Last night, VCOS hosted its annual Tourism Awards Celebration, presented by the Colorado Springs Airport. The Starlight Soiree, held at the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club, celebrated another successful year across the tourism and hospitality industry in the Pikes Peak Region.

The awards were sponsored by Pikes Peak Region Attractions. Winners included:

  • Tourism Leadership Award – Sarah Braun, City of Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak – America's Mountain
  • Lodging Hospitality Award – Susan Nguyen, The Broadmoor
  • Tourism Customer Service Award – Ivette Rentas, Colorado Springs Airport
  • Community Service Award – George Whitt, Visit Manitou Springs
  • Tourism Team Collaboration Award – Cole Powell, Ryan Kost, Peter Cole; Pikes Peak Region Attractions
  • Hospitality Industry Inclusion Award – Pikes Peak Pride
  • Sustainability in Action Award – El Paso County’s Fountain Creek Nature Center

Attendees enjoyed delicious food, signature cocktails, live entertainment from Ormao Dance Company, ICONS and Colorado Springs Conservatory. Around 200 guests were in attendance for a night of elegance among the stars.
