Visit Colorado Springs Announces Michelle Talarico as New Board Chair
Changes include a new Board Chair and Board Members
Thursday, May 15, 2025 – Colorado Springs, Colo. – Today, VCOS announced both a new Board Chair and two new Board Members.
Former Board Member Michelle Talarico was appointed to Board Chair during the meeting on March 18. Talarico, former City Council member and owner of Picnic Basket Catering, is in her second year of service on the VCOS Board.
The Board of Directors approved Talarico to replace former chair Gus Krimm’s term. VCOS is thankful to Krimm for his years of service to the organization and the Colorado Springs community.
Additionally, two new board members have been appointed. Torie Giffin, owner of the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, was voted onto the Board. As a long-time VCOS partner, Giffin will bring additional lodging and hospitality expertise to the table. David Leinweber, City Council At Large representative, will also step onto the board as representative for the City of Colorado Springs.
