Visit Colorado Springs Announces Gus Krimm as New Board Chair
June 2024 meeting included votes on new Board Chair and Board Member
Colorado Springs, Colo. – June 21, 2024 – Today, VCOS announced both a new Board Chair and Board Member, voted on during the meeting on Tuesday, June 18.
Former Vice Chair Gus Krimm was appointed to Board Chair. Krimm, who is General Manager at the Mining Exchange Hotel, is currently in his third year of service on the Board. The Board of Directors voted for Krimm to fulfill the remaining seven months of former Board Chair Scott Marble’s term. VCOS thanks Scott for his service and dedication to the organization and community over the years.
Jen Furda, Director of Partnerships, Governmental Affairs & Military Liason at UCCS, was voted in as an official Board Member. Furda acted as a replacement for Kristina Coggins of UCCS. Coggins was a devoted VCOS Board Member since 2021 and recently passed away after a long battle with a terminal illness. She will be greatly missed across the Colorado Springs community.
