Join us in celebrating the art of the zine! Pikes Peak Zine Fest is a free annual indie art market where you can shop human-made zines, books, art, prints, stickers & more from 40+ local & national zinesters.
Many of our Exhibitors also are open to trading zines if you bring your own, & we host a Free Table of freebie zines & prints (including our free Anthology)!

What's a Zine?
Pronounced "zeen" from magazine, zines are small circulation (1000 copies max, but usually 100 or less) self-published magazines & books that can be about any topic big or small & can contain any type of visual art, written word, or combination. Made to be accessible, commonly made via photocopier, they have historical roots in activism (particularly Black & Queer artists), punk & underground scenes, & pre-internet fandoms as a way to connect & organize community.
Where is Berger Hall?
Enter the UCCS Central Campus (1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway) at the traffic light intersection on Meadow Lane to park in lots 222 & 223, or arrive by Bus 9 or 34. Enter the University Center building at the entrance next to the colorful "Olympians & Paralympians Among Us" sculpture (see photo in gallery). Go up to 2nd floor via the stairs or elevator (to the left of the stairs), then follow signage for PPZF past the coffee shop, down the long hallway to the dining hall, & to the right of the lime green wall is Berger Hall!
