Wondering what to do on Memorial Day in Colorado Springs? There are a number of ways you can enjoy the long weekend!
This unique, 2-hour SUP experience boasts a beautiful backdrop of Cheyenne Mountain and the Rocky Mountain Front Range. We’ll be joined by native birds and dragonflies whizzing by. Class will be a blend of gentle flowing postures followed by a live sound bath of Native American flutes during Savasana. Next we’ll savor a yummy brunch served to you on the lake.

During this custom guided tour, you'll experience gliding on a world-class SUP board in pristine waters, with scenic views and wildlife. Midway through our excursion we'll take a rejuvenating break and enjoy yummy, healthy snacks. This excursion is perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. Those newer to the sport will receive paddle board instruction. Paddling techniques will be provided along the way.

MeadowGrass Music Festival is the premiere music festival to kick off summer in the Pikes Peak region. Always held over Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, MeadowGrass is known for attracting up-and-coming talent from the region and all over the world. Besides the amazing musicians, we have activities for kids (12 and under get in free with a paid adult), workshops, yoga, late-night shows, ropes course, and archery range. This year brings our 4th Annual MeadowGrass Beer Festival.

Territory Days is back Memorial Day Weekend 2022! For more than 45 years, Territory Days has been Colorado's largest street fair. Shop hundreds of unique vendors with handcrafts from around the world. Enjoy great food, dozens of educational displays, patriotic tributes and live music from 25 bands on three stages. And best of all, admission is absolutely FREE! Mark your calendars, plan to bring the whole family and celebrate the spirit of Colorado's 1st Territorial Capital!

Proceeds benefit Angels of Americas Fallen. Enjoy a two hour, step by step, absolutely no experience necessary, FUN art class lead by the most awesome and talented artists in town. We LOVE to give back! Up to 50% of this class total proceeds will be donated. We will also have fun ticket prizes (including a FREE class) given to attendees that give cash donations. Painting with a Twist – Downtown COS will donate 100% of those cash proceeds to the non profit, please bring cash if you would like to participate.

Local artists of Teller County will be displaying and selling their art work at the Cripple Creek Art Alliance Memorial Day Art Show & Sale! The Cripple Creek Art Alliance Memorial Day Art Show & Sale will be hosted by the Cripple Creek Heritage Center located at 9283 S. Highway 67 (across from the Mollie Kathleen Mine). The Cripple Creek Art Alliance is comprised of artists all living in Teller County. Mediums will include, but are not limited to, oil, acrylic, pen & ink, pottery, jewelry, and photography.
