Event Summary
The 2026 Gleneagle Spirit 5k is the Fifth annual 5k event held in the Gleneagle community.
The event is organized and presented by two neighborhood Realtors (Blair Dinkins and Mark Rudolph) with volunteer assistance from other resident neighbors. The running portion of the event is professionally chip-timed by Eclectic Edge Racing. The Gleneagle Spirit Fun Run starts and ends at the Antelope Trails Elementary School Parking Lot and winds its way through the hilly Gleneagle neighborhood.
The course has various elevation changes, featuring the famed “Heartbreak Hill” on Copperfield Drive, toward the beginning of the run/walk. The route is clearly marked with signage and volunteer personnel at every turn. One Water station will be manned along the route.
Emergency support services are provided by the Monument Fire Department and private Security by Jamaru, LLC.

Following the Run/Walk, participants and their families are treated to a special celebration (Finish Line Festival) that brings the participants and the community together:
· Food Trucks serving after-race entrees.
· Vendor/ Sponsor (Finish Line Festival.)
· Music: Celebrity DJ James Brown.
· Fire Engine Display by the Monument Fire District.
· Leg and ankle massages by the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy.
· Presentation of Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals to the top Male and Female Runners in various age classifications.
