Event Summary
Archaeology is the study of the people who came before us. How they ate, how they interacted, how they lived. Come out to the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center for a fun day full of archaeology! The Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Archaeological Society will have stations set up around the Visitor Center for kids of all ages to explore pottery, rock art, and lithics, along with touch tables from Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services! This day will be interactive, educational, and FREE!
