The Colorado Short Circuit Film Festival is celebrating a milestone year as it returns for its 10th Anniversary, bringing 80 bold, inspiring, and always entertaining short films to the big screen.
Presented by the Independent Film Society of Colorado (IFSOC), this three-day celebration showcases the creativity, diversity, and talent of filmmakers from across the Centennial State. Audiences can enjoy an unforgettable weekend of independent films, filmmaker conversations, networking opportunities, and community celebration.
A Weekend of Colorado Stories
This year's festival features 11 themed film blocks representing a wide range of genres and voices, including:

Following each screening block, audiences are invited to participate in the festival's popular live filmmaker Q&A sessions, offering a chance to hear directly from the writers, directors, producers, and actors behind the films.
Celebrate Like a VIP
Festival-goers can enhance their experience with a VIP Pass, which includes admission to the Friday Night Filmmaker Reception. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages while mingling with filmmakers, actors, producers, and fellow film enthusiasts in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Opening Night will feature screenings of their work, followed by an extended conversation and audience Q&A moderated by Festival Director Ralph Giordano.
New for 2026
To mark the festival's 10th Anniversary, organizers are introducing the Breakout & Meet-Up Room, a dedicated space designed to foster conversation, collaboration, and creative connections.
Throughout the weekend, attendees can meet Featured Filmmakers, industry professionals, festival organizers, and fellow creatives while learning about IFSOC programs, regional film festivals, upcoming projects, and opportunities within Colorado's growing independent film community. A schedule of Meet-Up sessions will be available during the festival.
Celebrating Colorado Independent Film
For ten years, the Colorado Short Circuit Film Festival has championed homegrown storytelling and provided filmmakers with a platform to share their work with enthusiastic audiences.
"Independent film gives us the opportunity to tell authentic stories that might never be heard anywhere else," said Festival Director Ralph Giordano. "As we celebrate our tenth anniversary, we're proud to showcase the incredible talent that continues to make Colorado one of the most exciting places for independent filmmaking."
