Visit Colorado Springs Secures FY26 Tourism Marketing Grant
Grant will fund a cultural campaign with a brand anthem video as the centerpiece
November 5, 2025 – Colorado Springs, Colo. - Last week, Visit Colorado Springs was awarded a fiscal year 2026 Tourism Marketing Grant through the Colorado Tourism Office.
The organization received $49,000, which will fund a strategic digital campaign focused on showcasing the destination’s history, arts and culture scene and outdoor adventure. With nods to the twin anniversaries of America’s 250th and Colorado’s 150th , the campaign will center around a brand anthem video – a flagship storytelling piece designed to inspire and connect with visitors and locals alike. This asset will establish the “why” behind choosing Colorado Springs, showcasing both the region’s rich cultural heritage and outdoor adventure.
“This campaign will be more than just a marketing tactic, it will be a celebration,” said Chief Development Officer Amy Long. “We want to honor our region’s history and heritage, while also fostering a sense of destination pride in our visitors and residents who are pivotal to our region’s future.”Deliverables will include a high-quality brand anthem video, sponsored articles, targeted banner ads, social media posts and a robust website landing page.
The Tourism Marketing Grant program awards funding to eligible applicants for projects that promote the state as a tourism destination, supporting CTO’s mission to “empower the tourism industry by inspiring the world to explore Colorado responsibly and respectfully.” Additionally, these grants may be used for marketing projects that support destination stewardship, such as educating visitors on how to recreate responsibly. Project work will begin in January 2025 and will spur future economic development and growth for the tourism industry throughout the year and beyond.
