Visit Colorado Springs Launches Hub Exploring 25 Areas of the Pikes Peak Region
The dedicated hub on VisitCOS.com encourages visitors to explore more, stay longer
Colorado Springs, Colo. – July 16, 2025 – Today, VCOS officially launched the new neighborhoods and areas hub on VisitCOS.com, a placemaking effort intended to promote different areas of the Pikes Peak Region to visitors, as well as encourage locals to explore more. This project was funded by a Tourism Marketing Grant through the Colorado Tourism Office.
“So many communities and towns make up the Pikes Peak Region, but many aren’t aware of what makes each of them unique,” said Alexea Veneracion, Director of Communications at VCOS. “Our new hub will be a great resource for our residents and those considering relocation, and will also inspire visitors to stay longer so they can take advantage of all that Colorado Springs and surrounding areas have to offer.”
The hub on VisitCOS.com includes an interactive map of the Pikes Peak Region along with a page dedicated to each area. These pages are where users can find characteristics like history and ambiance, nearby events, and the best dining, shopping and recreation offerings. In addition to the website hub, VCOS partnered with Ahō Media to roll out short videos for social media to highlight each area and encourage people to visit the corresponding website pages.
The project covers prominent districts like Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City while also spotlighting lesser-known areas like Knob Hill, Black Forest and Security-Widefield.
