Colorado Springs Visitors Bureau Recognized with Variety of Robust Annual Awards
Colorado Springs, Colo. - Dec. 21, 2017 - Decades of staff hospitality, experience and passion have secured notable recognition for the Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau. As the official marketing arm for the City of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region, the CVB is tasked with bringing more visitors to Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak. The 501(c)(6) employs a dedicated full-time staff of 20 who increase awareness of the region and inspire travel by marketing to families, groups and organizations through direct sales, digital and print advertising and public relations. Many of these efforts received 2017 acclaim.

SportsEvents Media Group named the Colorado Springs CVB among its 2017 Readers’ Choice Award winners. Sports event professionals were asked to nominate and vote on destinations and sports venues that they believe display exemplary creativity and professionalism toward the groups they host.
The CVB was selected as one of three finalists in the category of Best Destination Marketing Organization 25,000 + for Colorado Meetings + Events magazine’s 12th annual Best of Colorado reader’s choice awards. Readers vote on the best meeting/event suppliers, planners and venues in 25 categories such as Best Historic Venue, Event Décor/Floral and many more.
Named a Top Destination Award Winner by Facilities & Destinations.
Named a Partner in Excellence for Northstar Meetings Group’s inaugural Stella Awards.
The CVB’s website, VisitCOS.com, received a Bronze Adrian Award for Website User Experience. Since 1957, the Adrian Awards have recognized creativity and innovation in advertising, digital marketing, and public relations.
A cooperative destination video effort with Brand USA received a season 38 Bronze Telly Award in the category for Video / Shows / Segments in General Travel/Tourism. The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens.
The 2017 Official Visitor Guide for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region won a Gold American Advertising Adrian Award for magazine design.
