Event Summary
Trees of Life is a time-honored annual community tradition which remembers those we love through the purchase of a light, an ornament or a starburst during the winter holiday season. In its 41st year, the event culminates with an outdoor tree-lighting ceremony at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, where loved ones' names are read in remembrance. Tribute is also paid to our military and first responders by illuminating a special red, white, and blue tree in their honor. Hundreds of people attend regardless of the weather. Music and complimentary refreshments also add to the spirit.
