Experience sunset from the summit of Pikes Peak — America’s Mountain on Colorado's 150 anniversary of statehood!
The Gateway to the Pikes Peak Highway will reopen at 6:45 pm, giving guests the opportunity to drive their personal vehicle to the summit or ride a shuttle to the top of Pikes Peak.
Sunset is expected at 8:10 pm, offering a rare chance to take in the evening views from 14,115 feet.
Important details: Advance purchase is required for timed entry permits and sunset admission, OR shuttle tickets. Same-day admission will not be available. Availability is limited.
Guests must begin descending from the summit no later than 8:50 pm.
