Event Summary
Sun Day - Make Art for the Global Gallery and join the National Celebration!
New solar and wind power outpaced all other energy sources around the world this past year. That's good news for the planet, but what will it look like? We'll have art supplies so all ages can make a work of art. The global gallery at SunDay.earth now has thousands of drawings from around the world.
We will also appeal to the technology-minded with local volunteers and staff from several nonprofits on hand to help demystify the rapidly evolving clean energy ecosystem including innovations such as induction stoves, heat pumps, home solar battery systems, EVs, e-bikes, Virtual Power Plants, etc. We're passionate about the promise of a clean energy for homes, schools, businesses, and the community, and what it means for protecting our Colorado outdoors and future generations.
Organizations staffing information tables at the event will include Third Act, Colorado Renewable Energy Society, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Food to Power, Solar United Neighbors, Colorado Climate Advocates, and 350 Colorado. Poor Richard's Downtown is generously hosting our event. Tables and art activities will be set up under the awnings in front of the building. Come create and learn with us!
