Space Foundation Discovery Center: Homeschool Days

Do you have what it takes to become an astronaut? From problem-solving challenges to teamwork missions, kids will test their strength, balance, and brainpower in real NASA challenges while learning the science and skills astronauts need in space.

This spring, Homeschool Days will explore “Living In Space” through different hands-on activities each month.

Activities:

10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. K–5th Workshop 1 and Workshop 2
12:00-12:30 p.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation
1:30–2:00 p.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation
2:00–3:30 p.m. K–5th Workshop 3 and 6th–12th Workshop 1
3:30-4:00 p.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation

Note: The K-5th and 6th-12th workshops feature similar activities with scaled content and/or challenges for younger or older students. We encourage families to enroll their students in the workshop that is the best fit for them.

Note: In case of cancellation due to weather, this program will be rescheduled for Wednesday, January 14th.
