Halloween comes early at Stargazers Theatre on Friday, October 18th.
We’re throwing a party filled with riffs, fog, and plenty of spooky energy as three Colorado Springs favorites take the stage: My Own Summer, Vitamin Red, and Shotgun Opera.
These alternative cover bands will bring a night of heavy grooves, high-energy rock, and the kind of anthems you can’t help but shout along to. The theatre will be transformed into haunted haven for music fans ready to kick off Halloween the right way.
Vitamin Red – A Tribute to Chevelle
Based in Colorado Springs, Vitamin Red delivers a powerful and faithful tribute to Chevelle. With tight musicianship, driving energy, and a deep respect for the band’s catalog, they bring hits like “The Red,” “Send the Pain Below,” and more to life on stage.
More than a cover band, Vitamin Red recreates the intensity and emotion fans expect, raw, loud, and unapologetically real.
My Own Summer: A Tribute to Deftones
Formed in 2012 by diehard Deftones fans from Denver, Colorado Springs, and Boulder, My Own Summer was built on a shared mission: to perform Deftones music with precision, passion, and respect. Over the years, we’ve shared the stage with national and world-class acts including American Head Charge, Motograter, Crazy Town, Soulfly, and Nile. One of our most memorable moments was having MTV’s Headbangers Ball host Riki Rachtman emcee a show for us at Denver’s legendary Herman’s Hideaway.
Named one of Denver Westword’s Top 8 Tribute Bands of 2018, My Own Summer has flown out for select shows in multiple states. These days, our appearances are rare but meaningful, built around gathering passionate fans for powerful, unforgettable performances. At the heart of it all, we just want to bring people together through the music we love.
Shotgun Opera – A Tribute to Linkin Park
Shotgun Opera is the ONLY Denver-based tribute band dedicated to bringing the music of Linkin Park and Chester Bennington to life. Formed in 2024, the band has quickly gained a reputation for their energetic performances and authentic sound. With a lineup of talented musicians, they deliver the hard-hitting riffs, powerful vocals, and dynamic stage presence that fans of Linkin Park have come to love. With performances at venues across Colorado, and the 2024 winners of Leftapalooza, a tribute band competition (sponsored by Left Hand Brewing Co.), Shotgun Opera is making their mark in the Colorado tribute scene. Whether you’re a long-time Linkin Park fan or just discovering their music, Shotgun Opera promises an unforgettable experience that pays homage to the legendary band and singer.
