Event Summary
We have a wonderful lineup of artists ahead, and I am proud to introduce our first pianist: my professor, Dr. Zahari Metchkov.
Those who have heard Dr. Metchkov before already know the artistry and passion he brings to every performance. I've had the privilege of studying piano with him at CSU Pueblo and seeing his mastery first-hand. His insight and dedication to music have shaped me in many ways, and I’m excited that he’s coming to share his artistry with our community in the season-opening concert.
Dr. Metchkov is a native of Sofia, Bulgaria, and he will be performing a program full of Eastern European composers close to his heart.
There will be light food and drinks provided during the reception, and Zahari has offered to give us a small Bonsai demonstration.
