Manitou Greenstone: 'A Tale of Two Greenstones'

Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society member Tina Cox will explain how her experience in learning about metamorphic greenstone in Alaska ultimately led her to discover Manitou Greenstone. Greenstone was quarried around Manitou Springs from approximately 1890 to 1940 and can be found in many of the town’s bridges and public buildings.
