7 p.m., Mountain Time, via Zoom.
Users can create and edit personal profiles, categories, and "free space" pages to document family history. We will learn the features of WikiTree and how to use them in our family search. We will start at the beginning of WikiTree and discover many ways to further our investigations through the website.
Elaine Martzen's family is primarily from the American South, with some roots in New York and Vermont. She has been with WikiTree since 2016, wearing many hats along the way. She is the project leader for Project: Holocaust and a co-leader for Projects: Jewish Roots and US Black Heritage. Her focus at USBH is the Heritage Exchange program. She is learning Hebrew and intends to become conversant. She knows enough Korean to add/edit names in Hangul. One of her goals in life is to ensure there is a family tree for every single known Holocaust victim. Elaine loves to help others get situated on WikiTree and to become better genealogists.
