Ian Ferguson is a multi instrumentalist/vocalist/producer from Colorado Springs, CO. He plays styles ranging from jazz to funk to ska to folk. He has recently been featured as a pianist and vocalist with jazz legends Nelson Rangell and Bijou Barbosa, as well as playing keys with Dotsero on a regular basis. In the Springs, Ian can be heard with Nube Nueve, Heavy Devils (Steve Langemo, Stefan Flores), and many more.
Led by trumpet player Jeff Sutton, New Vintage Jazz is a Colorado Springs group that has been playing the funky hard bop music of the late 1960’s for more than a decade. Featuring Jeff Sutton on Trumpet, Ian Ferguson on piano/vocals, Andy Burtschi on bass, and Randy Bowen on drums.
