Event Summary
In the recent year, there has been a renewed interest in Ramona, Colorado. There has been media articles, as well as, a new book on the town.
The Old Colorado City Historical Society felt that Ramona’s history needed to be recognized. With donations from the El Paso County Pioneer’s Association, many private donations as well aa the help of the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum, a historic marker has been created and installed in Thorndale Park at 24th and Unitah.
Please join us and support our continued work of historic preservation. This wild and wooly town needs to be remembered. Maps of a few historic locations will be given out.
