Event Summary
Keyboardist Geoff Cleveland grew up in Colorado Springs then spent a quarter-century as part of the Denver jazz scene, during which time he performed weekly at the legendary El Chapultepec, brought his highly-acclaimed bands such as The Emergency Broadcast Players and Hate Camels to Dazzle and countless other venues, and performed with such luminaries as trumpeters Ron Miles and Hugh Ragin, saxophonist Lew Tabackin and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer Ginger Baker. Since moving back to Colorado Springs, Cleveland’s performances as a leader include Grace Church Jazz in the Garden. Joining Cleveland will be violinist Jennifer Matsuura and bassist Marc Neihof. Both have been playing with Geoff for decades and both are experts in both jazz and classical music.
