Drumming Circles

Presented by Dr. Wanda and Ron Cousar, both teaching artists and Makers in Residence in the Pikes Peak Library District over 8 years have delivered programs to schools, nonprofit organizations, childrens programs, senior centers, greek letter organizations, and businesses in the Pikes Peak Region.

Learn the basic drumming and rhythm in this interactive session adapted to different levels. You’ll practice foundational drumbeats and then perform them from memory. This is a great activity for memory and stress relief. Please wear clothing that allows free movement to drum and play percussion instruments. No experience needed!
