Opening night begins with Mozart's Quartet in D Major, with Elizabeth Mann, flute; Andrew Wan, violin; Phillip Ying, viola; David Ying, cello. The program continues with the L’Étang (The Pond) movement from Loeffler's Deux Rhapsodies, performed by Erin Hannigan, oboe; Toby Appel, viola; John Novacek, piano.
Françaix's Sérénade for 12 instruments brings to the stage Laura Frautschi, violin; Stefan Hersh, violin; Toby Appel, viola; David Ying, cello; Susan Cahill, bass; Elizabeth Mann, flute; Erin Hannigan, oboe; Jon Manasse, clarinet; Michael Kroth, bassoon; Michael Thornton, horn; Louis Hanzlik, trumpet; John Rojak, trombone. Closing the evening with Fauré's Piano Quintet No. 2 in C minor, Op. 115 is John Novacek, piano; Andrew Wan, violin; Laura Frautschi, violin; Phillip Ying, viola; Bion Tsang, cello.
