Bird Banding Demonstration

Join Dr. Claire Ramos and her students from Colorado State University Pueblo as we learn about the birds of the Garden of the Gods. During this bird banding demonstration, you will learn how her team safely catches birds and collects scientific information, while getting to observe the birds up close.

Recommended ages 8+. Advanced registration required. Each demonstration will last 45 minutes - 1 hour. No previous experience is necessary for this observational event. This program is weather-dependent and will be cancelled in the event of poor weather for the safety of the birds.
